On a day-to-day basis, licensee firms can expect to deal with the following members of the Viridian Select team:
Practice Transition Specialist
- Your Practice Transition Specialist is accountable for ensuring the efficient and accurate transition of practices, advisors and products to Viridian Select.
- Once your transition has occurred this individual remains your first point of call for support around all operational and business planning aspects.
Practice Capability Manager
- Your Practice Capability Manager will support your practice and advisors to deliver quality advice and client outcomes. They are focused on helping practices and advisors achieve efficiencies and growth objectives through the implementation of Viridian Select practice support and business solutions.
- Your Practice Capability Manager will support your business through the implementation of processes, policies and tools in the Viridian Select Licensee channel.
Operations Support Manager
- Your Operations Support Manager is accountable for overall management and execution of operational matters in day-to-day advice delivery. The Operations Support Manager will be available to your firm to ensure operational excellence.
Technology Support Manager
- Your Technology Support Manager is your resource for individual business processes, achieving efficiencies across the end-to-end advice process, and improving outcomes by supporting the use of advice applications.
- They will support you through the introduction and implementation of proprietary technology solutions.
Raamy Shahien

Raamy is responsible for executing the business strategy and driving operational excellence across the group. He began his career with Westpac in 2005, becoming a partner in 2010. His business became the largest practice nationally, providing advice to ultra high-net-worth families in Melbourne.
Raamy holds a Bachelor of Law and Finance, and a Diploma in Finance Planning.
Glenn Calder

Glenn takes the company vision and makes it reality through rigorous strategy development, research and governance.
He holds a Bachelor of Education, Master in Business Administration, is an Accredited Derivatives Adviser (Level 1 & 2) and is a Certified Financial Planner.
Piers Bolger
CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER
Piers has over 25 years industry investment experience. He is responsible for the overall management of Viridian’s investment portfolios and new strategies.
Piers holds Bachelor Degrees in Commerce & Arts majoring in Macroeconomics and Political Science, Post Graduate Degree in Applied Finance & Investment & Masters Degree in Applied Finance.
Todd Clifford
GENERAL MANAGER,
VIRIDIAN SELECT
Todd heads up the Licensee Services division of Viridian (Viridian Select). He began his career in the Police Force. Building on his passion for helping people and a fervent interest in Finance, Todd embarked on a shift of direction creating his own business in 2002. In 2017 Todd merged his business with Viridian Advisory after discovering a deep-seated cultural alignment.
